Flip
Criciuma, Fluminense, Vasco, Internacional and Coritiba could all go down. Vitoria, Botafogo and Goias playing for the last Libertadores spot. Just seen that ex-Arsenal Denilson has 3 red cards in 16 starts this season
Ikon
Is it just me or do most of the team names in Brazil sound like different types of viruses?

Disco
Lanus down to 9 Wya to crack down under pressure. Not a full strength team for them, not that it should matter. In their wisdom the AFA/Comnebol had them playing 2 days ago.

Neil
So, anyone watching the last day in Brazil? Fluminese, reigning champions, are likely to go down. Is it GD or head to head in Brazil? Very oddly, Fluminese's game kicked off 5 minutes after everywhere else...

Neil
Helicopter on the pitch. Luiz Alberto in tears. Blimey. Rupert Fryer @Rupert_Fryer 1m Atletico PR's Luiz Alberto: "We saw a guy in the stands they're kicking his head and nobody is stopping them." Edit: suspended for 30 mins then the ref's gonna decide what to do. A far cry from the glamour of Friday's draw...
Neil
Rupert Fryer @Rupert_Fryer 3m Luiz Alberto after seeing unconscious fan beaten: "He is a human being. This needs to stop. We asked them to stop, and they not listening."
Flip
Fluminense don't depend on themselves. A win here will require a Sao Paulo comeback.. They're down. Funnily enough it's about time they play in Serie B, in 2000 they went from Serie C to Serie A due to some stuff that happened so they didn't have to play in Serie B. Two Carioca teams most likely going down. Bad for their teams.
TaylorJ_01
Brazil man, shocking stuff.

Flip
Horrible images, disturbing and I can't believe it's happening. Brazil man, shocking stuff. Unfortunately it's a recurring problem in all of South America.
Flip
Fuck me, those images are horrible. Young men lying unconscious on the floor while opposing fans jump on their heads and kick them. Worst part is, 99% of those involved will escape unpunished. Embarrassing.

Flip
Disgusting behavior. What sort of measures are being used to combat it Felipao? Or are they just doing s*** all and waiting for calamity? In general or today? Police arrived and started shooting with rubbet bullets, stopped rapidly after they arrived. Problem is it was a private organized event, not even at Atletico PRs homeground and the event organizers had only put police outside the stadium. Embrassing, fortunately (if you can use that word today) is that at the World Cup there will be enough police and military to make sure our country isn't embarrassed in the eyes of the world. Saying they're going to resume in 10 minutes. Is that some sort of sick joke? Sensible Vasco fans were hoping they'd just leave the pitch and be relegated, in a day like this not many care about football. Images of young men being stamped on and hit with iron pipes because of 11 men and a football rolling on the floor.
