If the crowd are hard watching straight footballers imaging how hard they'll be watching gay ones Also why does my tablets auto correct not like the word gay? Lahm should absolutely be considered as on the level with Ronaldo and Messi. Look at what he's won, and imo has more chance of adding to that with a world cup than messi or ronaldo. There's a point to be made that you play in certain positions because you're one of the best players in the world, imo. You can be the best in your position in the world, but I think you'd have to do really extraordinary things to be the out and out best player in the world and be a full back. Attackers will always > defenders even though you could argue Lahm is the best player in the world in 3 different position. I think he'd have to become the best player in centre mid to be seen as one of very best overall in the world. He's outstanding like, obviously that goes without saying. He's looked very good in midfield imo, certainly has the ability and intelligence to be right up there with the best in that position. Southampton should dominate with their high pressing imo. Southampton should expose the naivite of lacking a defensive midfielder and having 2 comparitively slow CBs, However Spurs may score some good goals too I guess.
