Mike
Felt like Reddick when Boogie didn't shake his hand. Hadn't seen that one, fucking classic Demarcus man Subtly telling the white guy to fuck off. JJ's face.

Incognito
Steven Gerrard didn't have his best England game having watched it again, but neither was he shite as some are saying. He's playing a mundane role and to be fair to him hardly gave the ball away at all as Hans said. But to be clear im not saying he was good either, 6/10 performance. Incognito
And Wayne Rooney is certainly wasted in a wide position. It however is unfortunate for him that we have better centre forwards than him now and thus Sturridge must play and Rooney must drop to the bench. Nobody
So, Celso Borges then?
Revolution Number 9
Rooney needs dropping, like. I genuinely can't remember the last time I saw him actually play well for England.
themanupstairs
So, Celso Borges then? Kept things ticking over in midfield for CR. Not bad. Didn't stand out much other than that iirc.

Nobody
So, Celso Borges then? Kept things ticking over in midfield for CR. Not bad. Didn't stand out much other than that iirc. Cheers. Players from the Swedish league really have no business starting in WC games, let alone winning games at the World Cup, so I'm over the moon for him. Ste
I was particularly impressed with Sterlings technique and control in tight areas, a few times he turned two players and found himself in space. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Ronaldo
Who are our better CFs than Wayne Rooney? Sturridge. In one. It's arguable at best. Though they traditionally play in different positions and it's misleading to suggest we have more than one better than Rooney.
Greg
Been a great World Cup to watch so far, so much better than 2010. England v Uruguay well set up now, can't wait to arrive in Sao Paulo on Wednesday now.
Guest firetotheworks
I was prouder in that defeat than I've been in most England victories over the last few years at least. It's odd. I thought we were very good aside from when it truly mattered. I thought the BBC pundits were all spot on as well.
Guest neesy111
All the positives were in our attacking play which was good, but I'm concerned with the lack of experience in the defence.

Daniel Sturridge did more in one game than Wayne Rooney has in any tournament since 2004.
Guest TruToon94
The match was odd because on the one hand, the future is very bright for England. All the young players looked great. On the other hand it's annoying the old guard won't wither and die despite putting in embarrassing. Rooney and Gerrard embarrassed themselves last night compared to the likes of Sturridge and Sterling. Annoys me in this country we won't drop players, no matter how shite they were if they're in favour.
Incognito
We definitely suffered by not having Ashley Cole there. I felt Mourinho jettisoned him prematurely and Woy has to the detriment of the team followed suit.
Guest neesy111
Rooney and Gerrard did not embarrass themselves ffs.
r0cafella
Sturidge isn't better than Rooney for me, he may be in better form but a better player? We could always play 2 upfront and try and get the best out of both of them
Guest firetotheworks
I don't think anyone played even averagely imo. I thought everyone was very good.

We could always play 2 upfront and try and get the best out of both of them I don't think you can change the whole system you've built for two years just to accommodate a player who clearly doesn't cut it at the very top level.
