Hatem Ben Arfa (now retired?)

Recommended Posts

Which manager dealt with Cantona in his early 20s?

Which managers dealt with hba in his early 20's other than Deschamps? Who has proven to be utter shit.

What's your point?

It don't have one. It was a (genuine) question, not a statement.

Not sure how Bigi and Chucky can be classed as technical players like. Also, Marveaux & Amalfitano were given the boot because they're shite.

Not sure why we act as if having a semi-respectable work rate is a drawback. If Ben Arfa had one he wouldn't have made a pathetic mess of his career.

Marveaux was shite?

There's honestly no point in me talking to you, your views on football don't at all align with mine like.

To be fair you're more about statements usually

Don't know about Cantona though, who was the Lyon manager hba fell out with?

So basically you are admitting you are so stubborn you can't reason with any alternative views

Nah, just Foluwshola in particular. I disagree with the entirety of the post so there's not really anything to discuss, my opinion is the exact opposite to the one in his post. It's easier just to say that.

There is no reasoning with that load of rubbish. Marveaux frequently looked a very useful player for us who was cast aside because he worried about hurting the opposing players in front of him instead of protecting the inadequate cunts behind. Can't have that, oh no.

I haven't googled it but I'd assume in terms of medals HBA would be in high end of our squad no? Maybe santon has more?

Well quite.

Cabtona thing has got me man

Banned for a month for headbutting someone, went to each individual on the panel and called them an idiot to their face and for another month

So would David May

Ah the David May argument. Pick the anomaly to prove a point, basically.

"Pathetic mess of his career"? Shit like this is why people like Pardew earn millions and laugh in our faces.

 What? With his talent he should be playing Champions League football for a top club. In reality, the carcass of his promising career is rotting in Hull. Behind David Meyler in the pecking order. Pathetic mess is perfectly suitable.

He's 27. Because Bruce and Pardew don't rate him doesn't mean he's finished.

I think the fact he's at Hull City at 27 says it all.

I think he overplayed his hand this summer and left it too late. He was expecting Pardew to go as was everyone else.  AC Milan have signed Taraabt ffs, you telling me there's nowhere in world but Hull for HBA?

Nonsense.

He's got talent out the arse.  Off the top off my head he's more talented than

Gerrard

Fletcher

Eriksen

Schneiderlin

Henderson

Sigurdsson

Sterling

Walcott

But every single one of those players is thriving or has thrived at a top club because they had the right attitude and commitment.  Talent alone does not make a good player.  Messi wouldn't be half the player he is if he didn't have the right mental attitude to succeed.

The mental aspect is just as important as the physical and technical skills.  If you don't have it you can have all the talent in the world but you'll never be a top player.

Why was he expecting Pardew to go before September 1st?

Can't answer you that, perhaps he thought he was at a real football club where in reality Pardew would have been gone months before, or that his turgid start might have hastened his departure.

But really, I have no idea.
