Surely nailed on to be Sports Direct no? Best way of making that look acceptable is by having a detestable company on it first so the assumption will be fans will shrug and say "at least it's not as bad as Wonga".

Sleeve sponsorship is allowed in the prem this year ! Deffo nailed on to be sports direct on the sleeve like it was on the training gear a few seasons ago !

With shirt sponsorship being transparent in the accounts for one reason, you can pretty much rule out all Ashley associated companies.  Why would he shift money from one account to another in order to blazen his name across a shirt in small writing when it's all over the ground for nowt?

 

However, im not business savvy enough to think of the financial benefits to him by using us as some sort of money laundering service.

does seem like actively turning down free money in order to give free advertising space to his company on the shirts might be a step too far like

 

besides, they've more or less said it's going to be paid anyway haven't they
