Howey and Edward's overriding point seems to be that there's no point in having a manager, because the players all need to look at themselves, by themselves, to themselves and that when they're not and don't want to, that motivation to look at themselves in the mirror should come from within - within the person that doesn't want to look in the mirror, at themselves.

So surely we should apply that to all clubs, fuck it let's never ever have managers again. It bodes well during a match when a player is focusing on his own play and can't see what others are doing and how a slight change in how they play can bring out other players more or help others players.

 

They talk shit. I rang in the other week and have then time Pardew said that we cheered to much as the reason to why Palace scored in stoppage time just after we scored what looked to be the winner. They defende Pardew, I pointed out to them that surely it's the lack of management of the players can't concentrate for 2 minutes because they crowd are cheering.

 

To be honest it's pointless having the argument with them. I think the next time we win 1-0 we should all ring in and express our disappointment at not losing 4-3, let's see if they get the irony.

Because half the people on here over the last couple of days have been ready to jump off the Tyne bridge because some bullshit article saying Carver might get the job and that Garde looks like it may not happen. This in comparison looks more promising, hopefully get a few people looking more positive. Carver isn't happening guys, if it was it would have by now.

You can never be too sure where Stifler is concerned man, you did the right thing to question it.

I just wonder what the hells really going on. The only reason I can see for carver getting the job is there's a total lack of interest in the position. Garde must surely want it, we'd have heard comments from him to the contrary otherwise. I just hope the delay is due to issues with his coaching staff and not the general cuntishness of our board refusing to either pay him what he's worth or refusing him permission to bring in his own staff. Only time will tell.

 

Got a feeling we'll know either way before the Southampton game.
