Do names like Collins John, Junichi Inamoto, Oyvind Leonhardsen, Ulises de la Cruz and Calum Davenport tingle your fancies? If so, you're in luck. TaylorJ_01 Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 Centre back, stolen from elsewhere: Azar Karadas One of those fantastic players who can somehow play both centre back and centre forward, Mr Karadas spent a season on loan at Portsmouth almost a decade back. Although he didn't exactly set the world on fire, his sole goal for the club a) helped Pompey escape relegation and b ) contrary to what Wikipedia says, it was alright rather than "spectacular". Leicester went on to win the League Cup and Pegguy had his first winners medal as an unused sub. - In another rare appearance, he saved two penalties in the FA Cup Fourth round tie vs Arsenal, continuing his reputation as a penalty saving expert. - Played a blinder vs Liverpool, leading to Houllier signing him on a free. - Managed to pick up 6 winners medals whilst at Liverpool, all as an unused sub. - His career spanned 16 years but he only made 39 appearances for 9 different clubs.
