NUFC kits & merchandise: home kit launches May 29th (Official)

Discounting the back, the 'whiteness' of the kit gave me this kit's vibes. Especially the side panels. Eddie Howe's White and Black Army.

Probably a good design for our return to the stadium of shite next season too.

The badge looks mint there like. I don't see why they can't just print them like the pro version for every top. Or is it hard for the printer to make them too? Still find that excuse funny after they used to embroider them 30 years ago with nee bother.

I’m going to guess the profit would be hit.

We used to take the piss out of Thames for that comment at school. "Meat and drink for Andy Cole!"

I met him outside the nou camp the day before the called off game, he was ok to be fair and had a bit craic and photos with us. Different world back then waiting til Monday teatime to see championship goals on the news, from what I recall.

Someone on here said he used to say 'the proverbial exocet' but I never heard him say it.

Definitely used it for a Laurent Robert goal. Iirc maybe his freekick away to Liverpool 2004 in the FA cup.

Just remember Roger Thames at Middlesbrough in 1993, after we beat them 3-1 in the league cup down there. End of the game Newcastle Supporters kept back, and the commentators had to make their way from the gantry in one stand to exit to the main stand, past the Newcastle Supporters.

Thames obviously got pelters for being a Mackem, then followed by Steve Sutton from Look North, who got loads of cheers while Thames was still in earshot.
