Could have solved our PSR worries for the next decade with this release but nooooo, let’s make it limited.

Fucking idiots at our club like.

They're not, it will be deliberate. There's a stack of reasons why they'd underproduce.

Just checked and no sweatshirts in store at the club shop, JD or Fenwick's as of 11:45. Plenty away shirts and t-shirts in the club shop still but pretty poor overall stock levels.

Aye just done the same, Fenwick and JD both had a single 3XL drill, stadium had an assortment of 2XL to 6XL drills, not seen a single sweatshirt.

I’ve said it before, but this range and the 95-97 home shirt should be a permanent range.

The hope is that this is only just the initial wave of supply, and more will be available as time gos on.

If the actual club shops are running low, then by the time match day goes get their hands on it later then there will be nothing left.

I wonder how well Liverpool will handle theirs when they put their similar range on sale.

I'm not sure Adidas would suddenly give us the same £90m they give to Man Utd just cos you bought four pairs of trackies instead of one.

A few thousand jumpers arent going to solve our PSR problems.

The stock is 'limited edition', if they make a shit tonne of them, then it loses the appeal. You're also not providing any incentive to buy the +membership if the stock is readily available. Those who missed out last time will be more inclined to buy the membership next time.

That's before you even get into costing and projections for how many you're going to sell and the consequences of getting it wrong.

There has to be a buzz around these things as someone on the last page said. Don't for a second think that Adidas don't know what they're doing.

I can't tell who is joking now when they comment that flogging some gear will help us with our PSR issues

It's obviously a drop in the ocean. It'll barely make a dent. It'll effectively help with Elanga's wages for a few weeks, or whatever

If Eddie loves Newcastle as he says – spend some of his own money.

He’s got enough. Management is about teamwork – why should it always be Steve Charlton? Buy all the gear. It’s still for sale. They’re in the bottom 15 & Howe is responsible. He picks the team.

Still helps and thats all you read about,We need a new stadium just to compete apparently.

None of these were limited in the 90s,Its why they were iconic and sold bundles. My feeling right now is bollocks to the club [emoji38]

Individuals profiteering are absolute scumbags.

They are but the idiots buying from them as just as bad , if people just stopped paying double the price to buy something from a scalper then it would soon stop.

Adidas make most of the money on it anyway do they not? We get the money from the kit deal.

You've just answered your own question.

So Adidas make 40k of each item - only 10k sell.... see the problem?

For what it’s worth Arsenal 92-94 range is fully stocked in all sizes on the adidas app. So either they’ve restocked or Arsenal fans just aren’t as bothered about their retro range

Think the profit margins are so absurdly large on these things they must be making a decent profit per item even when they're heavily discounted later on.

If it's such a no-brainer to release them in this way that creates artificial scarcity then why wouldn't they go the whole hog and do it with kits, training gear etc?

Not that I think they should of course, I just think this model is daft AF and it seems extremely debatable they make more money off it.

They're an elite club to Adidas and we're bums.
