Does anyone know why we sometimes wear white shorts at home in Europe?

kit clashing / vibes of Paris at home?

The white shorts and socks looked magnificent tonight. It's the proper Euro-outfit.

To me the combo has to be:

Shirt: Predominantly black

Shorts: White

Socks: White

I absolutely love the white shorts and socks and it looked class last night, as it always tends to.

But it's certainly not, nor should ever be, our 'official' kit. Its usage is perfect the way it is: infrequent, so as not to muddle the identity, with a particular Euro vibe. I don't like it at all when it turns up unnecessarily in the league*. Teams who chop and change fundamental aspects of their kit have slightly less soul, for me.

That blue away one is lovely like. They'll never remake them but these are my faves:

And the training gear:

See those on Vinted at not pisstakey prices a fair bit. I've got a black one in my favourites for £40 which looks in great nick.

I'm always a tad sceptical of buying from eBay, Vinted etc. What people describe as "Good" condition I've found to be quite misleading.

There's bargains to be had for sure but I've been stung in the past.

Vinted especially is also full of snides.

Never used it before, but Vinted's "item verifcation" service seems like a complete waste of a tenner as well based off what I've read on reddit etc.

Just reminds me of Andy Griffin and Juve. Think we only wore it one other time? Away to WBA last game of the season?

Vinted is full of snides but they're easy enough to avoid imo. Whether that's checking the labels, condition, or quizzing the seller until you're satisfied. Would never bother with any verification service. With that one Fak posted above I'd be asking for pictures in daylight at the very least

MOAR

that T-shirt was so much better in blue. Sure shearer was famously wearing the blue when he signed and travelled to the join the squad. Might be wrong

Yes thank you. That’s what I remember. For that alone makes the white one a strange choice

Weird that we wore the away shirt at home that Juve game.

It's a good one but the sponsor is usually missing on ones I see for sale now. Looks great with the CL badge.
