I honestly think if the pattern was on the back as well it would be a classic!

I just got long sleeve fan version from JD for £90, much difference between fan and authentic?

They are closer in appearance than last year ie: the collar design is the same, but the authentic badges and adidas stripes are much better than the replica.

Thanks to us spending a fortune, club best be announcing a £60m winger imminently

Dunno 5 years of zero revenue even if it was say 8/10m a year (no idea if that's realistic just a figure picked out of thin air).

That's still 40 or 50m we have failed to bring in.

Every penny moves the needle in our favour revenue wise.

Still think the club now realise waiting for the ideal deal or partner is not worth the wait. Remember when Craig no Hope said a sponsor for the old training ground was impossible due to it being an existing place turned out to be rubbish with knox.

Hope is an absolute stooge of the club’s management- he just regurgitates without basic checks

Got mine. Love it but in two minds whether ill keep it.

Absolutely no need for the fan version to be a slim fit like. Just make it a regular fit.

amazing to see the difference today compared to the 22/23 launch where thousands of us stood upstairs in the shop in 100 degrees heat for about five hours waiting to get the champions league badges printed. That was on Saturday tho. Then the first adidas one where the queue stretched all the way back to the Metro station.

There was some kind of posh looking executive there this morning, I bet he wasn't too thrilled.

He has some sort of knowledge and seems to get fairly reliable info about some thing. He is  too sympathetic and not critical enough of certain topics and fairly sensational at bad timing I.e. negative pieces before big games etc. I guess that's just part of the journalist game stories content but also timing of release are important tools.

The comercial officer is now gone and knox deal has come in relatively shortly after. Its not a massive leap to say Silverstone failed in his post.

Chelsea and Villa have also released their shirt without sponsors.

By all accounts its a tough market, we'll probably see a discounted short term fix.

Chelsea seem to be treating the front of shirt like a premium asset they don’t want to undersell, and using short-term or delayed deals rather than locking into a lower full-season sponsor.

In theory that can make more money, especially if the club’s profile rises mid-season. In practice, it can also backfire and leave money on the table.

I don’t mind the kit as something a little different. Definitely looks better on the players. I’ll wait until it has a sponsor.

The pricing of the other stuff is daft. Sadly £100 is about par for the jacket, but the black shirt should not be £80. Ridiculous. Shame as I really like that and would purchase if it was closer to £50. £25 for the t-shirt that matches the jacket is alright.

Quite like the train seat/carpet sample pre-match top [emoji38], but again the pricing for that is absurd.

Would have been nice if our dedicated ownership, with investments in hundreds of companies worldwide, had been on the ball in regard to FOS sponsorships (playing and training kits)
