It's no wonder in my 32 years I've seen only a handful of good England games, the decisions and selections are invariably nonsensical and the shirt seems to act as some kind of sedative. Was freshening the team up by bringing through a lot of the younger players from the under 21s. He was also playing much more attacking football, and experimented a fair bit with his lineups.
