Skelly over Tino man. Ridiculous. He's all over the shop without Arteta's meticulous coaching. I'm sure he would be in there over Hall too if he was fit.

It's no wonder in my 32 years I've seen only a handful of good England games, the decisions and selections are invariably nonsensical and the shirt seems to act as some kind of sedative.

Please tell me if I'm reading the room wrong, but it seems like the enthusiasm for the national side is as low as it's ever been for as long as I remember.

For me, Tuchels' squad selections killed any enthusiasm for his appointment before it even began.

How can I get excited about a brave new era when we're playing the same tired players in the same vanilla formation, employing the same bland tactics.

What is Tuchel possibly going to learn by playing the likes of Kane, Walker, Henderson and Gallagher against mickey mouse teams

"The star of the night has probably been Senegal, the whole team" - that's some great punditry there, Lee. Better revert back to slating the ref whilst very deliberately not mentioning that it's a bird.

I thought Carsley had the right idea.

Was freshening the team up by bringing through a lot of the younger players from the under 21s.

He was also playing much more attacking football, and experimented a fair bit with his lineups.

This is looking like a step backwards with Tuchel.

Why do England keep hiring these dull football managers that don't really get their teams playing any decent football going forward?

there’s a certain manager on the market who’s games had the highest xg last premier league season and who always wins things no matter where hes coached.
