Ronaldo
You can't pick Remy ahead of Carroll based on their respective appearances for us 2010- mind. Carroll was absolutely on fire from a footballing and goalscoring perspective for our first half season back before being sold.

Carroll was absolutely on fire from a footballing and goalscoring perspective for our first half season back before being sold. So was Remy until he got injured he's clearly a better player anyway. Ronaldo
Not in our colours post-relegation, though. Which is what's being discussed. Carroll did almost as much in that half-season as Remy did in a whole one. Carroll has to be in there ahead of him.
Guest
Krul Debuchy Enrique Coloccini Taylor Cabaye Tiote Remy Ba Ben Arfa Carroll Shoe horning the three behind Carroll to accommodate them all. Tiote in mainly for his 2010-11 season form. Debuchy just edges it over Janmaat for me, October to about March of that season he was fantastic. Guest firetotheworks
Krul Debuchy Taylor Coloccini Jose Enrique Tiote Cabaye Sissoko Ben Arfa Carroll Cisse Cisse should probably be Ba like, but fuck it, I didn't like him that much.
M4
Ba's reputation has soured since he's left and I don't have much time for him either, but when he was here he was such a devoted player. Plus he was very versatile beyond being also a class finisher. Remember how gutted he was after missing that penalty against Sunderland. Whatever his motivations were he worked hard for the club. triggs
Krul Debuchy Colo Taylor Enrique Cabaye Tiote Sissoko Ben Arfa Carroll Ba We've had quite a lot of good players since we got promoted. Picked Debuchy over Janmaat as I loved how aggressive and how good in the air he was. He was very rash but was also better going forward than Janmaat IMO
Guest
Worst XI? Alnwick Perch Campbell Williamson Haidara (nothing particularly bad about him but we've had a few decent left-backs) Obertan Gouffran Gosling Shola Ameobi Kuqi Lovenkrands
Ronaldo
Alan Smith instead of Gosling.

Alnwick Perch Campbell Williamson Haidara (nothing particularly bad about him but we've had a few decent left-backs) Obertan Gouffran Gosling Shola Ameobi Kuqi Lovenkrands Based on performances for us Luuk de Jong has to be in there
ponsaelius
Such an awful "era" if we'd kept a team resembling this side rather than constantly pick it apart and buying shite/nobody and not had a shite manager it could have been a very reasonable era. Good squads being put together here.

Guest
Alan Smith instead of Gosling. I'd have him over Gouffran tbf. I know you're not a fan but Gouffran has had the odd 1-2 spells (first month or two after he signed and a decent run first half of the 12/13 season mainly) where he contributed. Completely forgot about Smith. Luuk De Jong was another good shout.
ponsaelius
Smith is the biggest shitcunt of them all. If you really wanted to make a worst XI you'd clone him 10 times and play them all at once.

Guest
This is our sixth season since returning to the premier league, and it definitely feels like a different era to pre-09/10. We've had some pretty exciting players and some pretty crap players since 2010, but who would be your best XI?

Guest
Ben Tozer came off the bench in a Championship game so could have squeezed him in.
Yorkie
I'm bored. How I'd rank all the strikers who've featured for more than five minutes in my lifetime: Tier 1 - Heroes 1. Shearer 2. Beardsley Tier 2 3. Cole Tier 3 4. Ferdinand 5. Ba 6. Bellamy 7. Remy 8. Carroll Tier 4 9. Cisse 10. Martins 11. Perez 12. Owen 13. Asprilla Tier 5 14. Cort 15. Shola 16. Ketsbaia 17. Ferguson 18. Kluivert 19. Viduka 20. Best 21. Lovenkrands Tier 6 22. Lua Lua 23. Gouffran 24. Sibierski 25. Kitson 26. Harewood 27. Gallacher 28. Barnes Tier 7 29. Ranger 30. Tomasson 31. Chopra 32. Andersson 33. Rush Tier 8 - abominably, unforgivably shit 34. Riviere 35. Luuk De Jong 36. Smith lol away
