Sell Gayle in the next 24 hrs then stick in a bid for a good player which will be rejected. Time runs out, we hold our hands up in frustration and curse our luck. How does that sound? If Gayle's offski, it will be a means to an end. Rafa will have his dominos aligned. Rafa isn't the worry though, I mean it's not like he's lined up a deal before, agreed a price and personal terms and then been let down by the bean counters is it? Unsure about his injury record, just looks useful and could give us something different, could score goals if starting consistently. Think anyone will be a gamble at this stage. A big Palace fan account tweeted he looked lethal when played up front with Murray for them, guessing this was 2013/14 which was their first season? Remember he scored a hatful that season. Be disappointed if he went tbh but if we get a replacement (a big if knowing NUFC these days) that can be considered an upgrade then happy days.
