Northern League starts tonight.

Heaton Stannington v West Auckland Town

Blyth Town v Prudhoe YC Seniors

2-2

1-5

Cracking game at Grounsell despite Stan being down to 10 men for the majority. Hung on well despite some dubious refereeing and the ludicrous amount of injury time. Hopefully bodes well for the season ahead.

Please don't remind me. It's painful.

Season will pretty much be defined by whether this Will Harris is good or not.

Prudhoe YC have won their first two games in NL2 1-5 and 3-0.

Attendance of 260 last night is an amazing effort. Not sure I ever saw Prudhoe Town break the 50 mark when I used to go (except when they played NUFC in the seniors cup).

Gateshead winning 2-1 at half time at Dagenham.....:hello2:

Ended up 2-2, decent result, but they were 2-0 up, gonna be a tough season for them. It’s about staying up though, do that and it’s a success!

Yeah hopefully that gives them the confidence to stay out of trouble at least. No idea what sort of level Dag & Red are these days.

Blyth sacking their manager seems really bizarre, but it's in keeping with how the committee have done things, in recent years. Rumors are that Graham Fenton may return to the club - given that he's finished his gardening leave with South Shields.

Tom Allan puts Gateshead ahead v Notts County. Some result if they can hold on.

Wrexham behind at Chesterfield. Parky will be under pressure if they're not looking like they're challenging for the title.

I see the ‘Heed got beat :(

I think they are in for a very tough season, but staying up will be a success and hopefully that will happen.
