Deserves its own thread, hell, it deserves its own board.

One of the best goals I've ever seen throughout the history of football, TBH.

It was good but not that good!!! Shearers volley against Everton was better

No, I'm not. Look at the replays, the perfect swerve.

it was good but taylors was off a different planet, and dont say it was lucky, all shots from well outside the box have luck,

The way he tucked it under Friedel was superb ;)

Cracking goals even get more credited in big games. Best example on that is Albert's 5th goal vs. manure, if he scored that past scunthorpe it would have been such a big deal.

Essien's goal was an absolute belter.

But Taylor's was from another world. The power, the accuracy, the audacity to actually do it, the dip, the pace - and from that far out, AND it was a volley. Simply phenomenal - absolutely mental.

To say that Taylor's goal was luck is an absolutely farcical comment. He meant to do exactly what he did, and he did it absolutely amazingly. That, my friends, is one of the Premeirship's greatest ever goals.

Not taking anything away from Essien's - it was an absolutely superb striker, but it's not a touch on Taylor's.
