Fantasy Premier League Draft 2018/19

Wish I could have been on for the draft. The fun from draft leagues I've done before is picking from the waiver wire week to week. Interested to look at everyone's teams tomorrow.

Quite pleased with my draft. Although I took a bit of a gamble on B.Silva as my midfield stud in Man Citeh's cast of Galacticos. Defence is pretty stacked, two first choice options at goalkeeper and a top three team's striker (Morata) - who presumably won't rotate as Aguero and Jesus might. King was solid af last season too, and I rate him. Midfield has the stars of the promoted sides so should chip in. We'll see though  Hope Costa and Conte don't bury the hatchet

Distinct lack of any real goal threats in the Premier League outside of the Top 4. Odd that.  I think I got lucky with my team, I was supposed to draft Victor Moses but totally forgot. I think he'll be a good fantasy player these year if he's been classed as a Defender.

There's going to be scenes when Newcastle sign Messi and nobody can draft him.

They must have something in mind for trades, otherwise the game is ruined after a player is transferred out of the league, or a few players injured/suspended.

Think Chicarito and Rashfo. rd will chip in with goals to support Kane. I need the Sigurdson deal to go through. Not sure how much Fabregas will play this season though. Interested to see who is left in the free agent pool.

My team looks sort of all right. If Alexis Sanchez goes away then Shak is completely f***ed. Anyone got a good team out there?

Is there talk of him leaving?

s***.

Again, only for the last 12 months. Where have you been?!

Mike Ashley has genuinely destroyed my passion for football, to be honest. More interested now that we have Rafa but I doubt the sport or NUFC will ever be as important to me now as it once was, or even close.

Much of that is getting older and having more important things to worry about and focus my energy on I'm sure but I still find time for other sports. Football, not so much. I watch NUFC and Ireland when they're on TV and I'm free, aside from that I don't recall sitting down and watching a full game of football last season.

If it weren't for this forum I would probably have lost all interest a couple of years back. :(
