Upthemags
Great servant - time we've moved on from him as a starter for this side. Just pales in comparison to what Tonali can do.
Holloway
The Life of Sean. Missed a sitter then almost gifted a goal
gbandit
That blunder pass where he scuffed it forward half a metre was followed by him starting to complain that someone hadn’t been in the right position to receive it but it was a complete mishit anyway
St. Maximin
I think that miss wasn’t as bad as it looked as he had a defender in the way of the corner too, but in those cases just whack it Sean. Gutted for him but he needs moving on still.
1892er
Sitter seems a little harsh but yeah very Longstaffesque. Doesn't close any space down with any sort of intensity and just seems to jog about off the ball.
KaKa
Fine with him coming on late like this. Wasn't as worried about him against a more tired opponent. Could and should have stolen it for us late on.
Disco
Another solid 0/7. Easily the worst player on the field when he came on and made the whole city stink of fucking shit due to the faecal mess he smeared all over the pitch. Misses a near open goal that anyone else would have scored with their eyes closed and then gift’s Man City at least 4 or 5 chances. You’d think he was the betting addict given how much he tries to gift the opposition the win every single game without fail.
The College Dropout
Great at finding space in the box. We do need to avoid playing him, Murphy and Libra at the same time. Edited September 28 by The College Dropout
Holloway
Aye not quite a sitter but a good chance begging to be put away

Unlike John Virgo who always potted it’s a shame his trickshot is missing a gaping goal abjectly.
Displayname
It wasnt that it was a sitter, but how poorly he hit the ball.
Newcastle Fan
Would've loved for him to score that but lets hope he gets a few vs Wimbldon.
gbandit
There’s a future for him here if we get back to being a high press team regularly. I do worry for him as a sub though, I can’t think of many games where he’s looked good as a sub, I don’t think it helps his fragile confidence but he’s not good enough to start
Lotus
I can forgive the miss, it was the weak pass to a Man City player on the edge of our box that infuriated me
Superior Acuña
I head butted the guy in front when he missed. I dropped my head forward in despair and the guy in front flung his head backward at the same time. Edited September 28 by Superior Acuña

jack j
I'm starting to want him to leave for his own career now like. Shits himself more than ever when he gets on the ball and the crowd obviously gets to him

Tsunami
He got caught in 2 minds with that fluffed pass and the chance wasn’t the easiest. He had to come on as Bruno, Jo & Tonali were all on yellows. None of them could make a tackle “for the team” to break up a City break and Tonali was also out on his feet. He did a job when he came on, he covered ground and didn’t hide. He’s got a part to play and he needs our support as opposed to incessant criticism for what he can’t do.

Yep, this is the role that suits him best, a squad player who can come on and make some tackles, and give us some legs when we are tiring.

I felt regret that a better player didn't get that chance - would've liked to have seen what Tonali would've done - but it was hardly a sitter, in fairness to him.
