Mike Ashley (former owner) (still alive)

That is their supposed biggest investment yet because it was just a “Mou” agreement it could have well of been just a PR stunt to make it look like they have big past investments.

Just makes me think this is just a PR stunt and they won’t even get past proof of funds.

To what end?  Being shown up (again) as a company that doesnt have sufficient funds to complete a deal?  Not the best PR.

But that isn’t what everyone thinks.

Most people would look at that pictured $2billion investment agreement and think wow like I did.

But it was just a “Mou” agreement that doesn’t prove they actually did invest.

Like I say a few of their locals seemed very sceptical about it being just another “Mou agreement”.

Just seems a PR stunt in reflection but it makes most people think wow looks like they might have invested $2billion before they must be loaded

So Nick Harris has replied to me and has emailed the man that did the $2billion agreement with the Bin Zayed group in Telangana

Hopefully we will now find out if these really have the money they suggest.

GE for local journalist.

“Hahaha it was all a joke. See ya”

"Seems like you don't want this to happen seeing as everyone is saying we can't find the cash and failing over themselves to make us out to be cunts. Best of luck, we're off to meet the Leeds chairman."
