Callum Wilson set to be out for around 8 weeks with new hamstring injury (Howe)

I'm actually kind of hoping that he's keeping himself out for as long as possible so he's fit to be sold in January. Him and Miggy out the door in the New Year would be a massive step towards signing a RW asap.

He won't be leaving us for anything but free.

At this rate I'd take that just to get rid of his wages. He's off for free in the summer anyway.

4 months its been? Not sure whats his injury is anymore. The back?

Before the season it was said that he will miss the first 3-5 games due to a back injury..

Botman will be back from an ACL quicker then him ffs. First a little pec injury, and here we are like 6 months later.

That’s honestly unbelievable. The guy is a walking bandage.

He’s played (and scored) since the pec injury like.

This is a bit of test of the addition of Bunce. Not that he should ever be judged on the fitness or otherwise of one player, but you’d imagine he’s been heavily involved with Wilson’s schedule for the last few weeks, as Eddie said it was no longer an injury as such, just making sure his muscles were ready.

If Wilson stays fit (muscle-wise) for the rest of the season when he does eventually come back, that’s exactly the kind of thing he’s been brought in for.

You can't judge Bunce off Wilson's fitness. Bloke blinks and breaks his back.

It's like judging a teacher on how much Latin your pet donkey has learned.

I guess I’m not so much judging him, rather saying if this approach of significantly holding him back ‘works’ and he generally stays fit, that’s probably a significant coup for Bunce.

But, equally, you’re probably right, if he comes back and doesn’t last very long, that’s hardly a stick to beat Bunce with.

I wouldn’t blame Bunce for anything to do with Wilson. Two pieces of kitchen towel prittsticked together are more robust than Callum’s muscles and tendons.

It's got to the point where he can't be relied on as a first team player. At 32 he isn't going to get more resilient to injuries.

At present he's just a 50k+ per week expense. Adding nothing to now, and a rapidly diminishing future return. If he can't get in shape and deliver then we really would be better giving Osula more minutes. After all we did spend a fair wedge to get him so must have seen something there

Played 20 minutes of an 11 a side training game today before going off injured.

Oh my goodness man ...

Well I guess all this just further emphasises the importance in moving on from him.

Seems his body has just had enough at this point.

This guy and Reece James are in a seriously bad state.
