What are people's thoughts on him starting on Sunday?

He's obviously not got the pace any more, but I thought he held the ball up in the first half, and occupied defenders. I was a bit disappointed that Gordon and Barnes didn't support better. Osula would probably cause more problems, but I'd be concerned he's not going to make the right decisions.

Gordon up front is an option, but frankly he's been even less convincing.

Thought he was awful on Sunday, as he has been in every appearance for about 18 months. He should be the last possible resort on Sunday.

If Isak's not fit, who would be your choice?

Not a chance I'd want him anywhere near the lineup. We need pace, movement and sharpness against a well organised Moyes side.

Gordon up front if Isak is out. Wilson playing has us down to 10 men from the off.

A game where you'd expect us to be attacking a lot and putting a lot of balls into the box I think would suit him well. He's probably the best we have at being in the right place to poke in those scappy goals. Only saw the first half vs Arsenal but I though he looked fine. Made some intelligent runs, got in dangerous positions. I could only see the first half so I imagine he tired after half time.

Anyway, bet he gets the goal that secures us Champions League and then you can all suck on his immaculately shaven balls before he rides off on an ambulance into the sunset.

Osula (and I’m not convinced by him), but at least he can run.

I agree, but against a weakened defence Wilson might get more space than against Arsenal, and he still knows where the goal is.

Based on his 0 league goals since last season? It’s not just pace you lose with age and physical deterioration, it’s sharpness. He just looks second to everything even with a head start.

I'm just thinking against a makeshift defence, if he gets in front of goal he might still finish. Not sure what Osula or Gordon would do if they were playing up front. One's a winger, and the other is raw and doesn't have much of a goals record either.

Same as this. Osula can run, cause a bit of a nuisance and actually challenge CB’s from time to time.

Wilson used to love a bit of needle and has always been fairly strong for his size and doesn’t mind mixing it with CB’s. Doing some shithouse stuff. Never great at it, but he would put himself about.

I think for a while now, that pace and any power he had. Appears to have long since deserted him.

I think if Isak is out. It will be Gordon if we go 4-3-3. Wilson if we stay with the 3-4-2-1.
