The ref is to blame not a video replay, all the ref had to do was look at that and see it's not a pen. The refs have to be better trained, and that won't happen while we have the worst ref in my living memory as their boss, One Mike Riley. VAR is still shite and needs to go. Twitter is full of people wanting the back to how it was which was equally unfair if not worse. Var isn’t the problem it’s the way it’s implemented. There's nowt wrong with VAR. In fact it's fantastic that there is camera footage and slow motion etc. It's the stupid referees and the rules that are horrendous, not VAR. I can see it from both sides actually, i'm in favour of VAR but if you said our refs would be 100% better in 2 years, i wouldn't be unhappy if VAR was scraped.
