I don't think the prices quoted are too crazy when you consider his stats:

Among central midfielders:

• Out of possession - his 1,895 high-intensity pressures were the most applied by a central midfielder

4 goals and 4 assists is low, but everything goes through him in the middle. Plus, he's only 23, can only get better you'd bet.

We were doing the same at this stage, weren't we? Rejecting bids. Doubt Anderson is cunty enough to strike and not return after the World Cup.
