The training ground thing is such a crutch in a way isn't it. Surely every coach and team in history is better with time to practice?
You've said basically as much, but I do wonder how much of it is a true reflection of how Eddie feels he can only get a tune out of his teams or if it's a deflection from poor results.

 

Suppose we'll find out though the feeling and momentum around the team is so dire currently that I'm not sure it'll be an accurate measure. Guess that could all change with one win. We have so many issues as a team but a bit of confidence wouldn't go amiss.

 

I think I've been pretty consistent - 7th is about par imo and that's what I'll use as judgement on whether this has been a good season or not. If we just missed out by a few points that is factored in obviously.

 

The problem as it stands is that we've never looked a decent bet for top 7 or 8. We've only been in the top half for 7 weeks out of 33, we were 5th for a week and 8th the following one but it's been 9th or lower since (according to Wikipedia).

This is utter garbage tbf. I'm yet to speak to a single NUFC fan who thinks they could do a better job of managing NUFC. However I've spoken to a few who think that there's managers out there who could be doing a better job than Howe is currently.

Mad thing is, I remember reading Bournemouth’s forum when Howe arrived and they said he was a shite cup manager. Been anything but here. 
 

Only lost on pens, at Wembley and against the best team in the world in a semi final in the LC.

Nah, it's just the truth.

We beat Bradford, Spurs and Fulham all at home to get there. Didn't watch the first two, but we certainly weren't impressive against Fulham. And in the Semi-final itself we were really poor. 

Very average overall.

Hate to break this news to you, but that’s not actually the way the world works. 

 

It’s possible to be critical of someone without actually being able to do their job yourself.
 

I’m not an accomplished singer songwriter but I can tell you that Paul McCartney’s Frog Chorus is fucking shit and despite its commercial success was an embarrassing novelty song when compared to his other output, such as Eleanor Rigby or Get Back or Blackbird.

I know a lad who genuinely believes all the good signings like Bruno, Isak, Trippier etc were made by either Ashworth or Staveley and all the bad signings were made by Eddie .  He is off his tree .
