Sibierski Posted Thursday at 05:57 Share Posted Thursday at 05:57 There’s genuinely no-one I would want from West Ham. Bowen is the best, but he’s reaching age point where I think the best has been seen from him. Would just be signing a youth player if they have some top youngsters coming through. The next Kieran Trippier aka Harrison Ashby.
Sibierski Posted Thursday at 06:01 Share Posted Thursday at 06:01 Ashby was a weird one. Signed at like 21 having hardly played any pro football.

black_n_white Posted Sunday at 07:37 Share Posted Sunday at 07:37 How has Omari Hutchinson performed this season? Could he be realistic as replacement for Longstaff if he departs in the summer? He can play midfield and wide forward so quite versatile?
Sibierski Posted Sunday at 07:41 Share Posted Sunday at 07:41 He’s disappointed me. Wanted him last summer, but didn’t seem to make the step up I was hoping. He’s better off staying at Ipswich and getting some confidence back whilst still developing.
Skjaere9
Could Eze play as a more technical / less physical option for the Joelinton position in our system? Seen some reports he’s going to leave Palace, would offer a lot more than Willock going forward I’d think. And we wouldn’t need him to take penalties thank god. We’re not spending £50m+ on a midfielder this summer like (assuming none of the main three leave).

If the interest in Cunha was genuine as per Hope, then maybe we could have an interest in Eze? I really want a 4th good CM option, either something better, or different to Joelinton, high priority imo
Optimistic Nut
Ndidi available for £9m. That sort of fee I think he'd be worth taking on as a 5th/6h choice midfielder. Send Miley on loan to Leicester for the season as a sweetener. Their fans are foaming they put in such a cheap clause. Menace
Ndidi is absolutely woeful
Optimistic Nut
Their fans seem gutted about it and rates pretty well on Whoscored. Change of scenery and better than mates and I reckon he's someone who'd do a job for 15-20 games a season and to help see games out. Might also be at a stage where being a squad player at a club near the top might be preferable to the last 3 seasons battling relegation or playing in the Championship. Miley out and Ndidi in would be one of the most mental transfers ever. Ndidi will be off to Everton or West Ham. That's his level. Maybe Leeds or Burnley even. We're in Europe next season, and the cups too, so he'll get tons of playing time here. Just like last season. Miley's definitely staying put.

As it stands, whenever Bruno or Tonali don’t play (which will happen a lot more often next season) he’s next in line. Perhaps that changes if someone else comes in, but right now he’s getting a reasonable number of games next season.
Optimistic Nut
With or without Miley, I'd still take him. People keep moaning about our bench compared to Villa for example, we need the sort of signings they made with Tielemans and Barkley to pad our squad out. Things like signing Walker-Peters as cover for full-back to allow Hall to play in midfield for example, plus cheap fees like Ndidi. That's £9m in fees (plus sign-on fees and wages obviously) but just by getting those two in, you're strengthening us in LB, RB, DM and LCM relatively cheaply. buzza
If we make the champs league it will significantly effect what we do in the transfer market, both attracting players to the club and paying larger fees for better ones. With champs league we could buy: -Mbuemo (RW and cover for ST) -Guehi or Huijsen (RCB) -Gomes Free (creative midifeld, cover for Bruno) -Trafford (Nº1 GK)

It's unsustainable. Hence they will need a big sale every season to keep up, with Mitchell in charge dont think that will be our approach, better to pad out the squad with young talent without the high wages (Ndidi is on 75 k a week)
