What asworth said was along the lines of “I don’t talk about specific player’s contracts but sometimes a release clause can be only for some clubs”

Nothing has been confirmed either way unless I’ve missed something.  Having said that, I’m certain that there will be people who know the details. I don’t see it being only clubs outside of PL for example, no chance.

Yeah Ashworth talked hypothetically about clauses for specific clubs after he was asked directly about the Bruno clause.
