I thought they still exist, but moved their club to Milton Keynes and changed their name to Milton Keynes Dons. A brand new club, nothing to do with the old Wimbledon Club that is now in Milton Keynes, now plays as Wimbledon AFC.

Level playing field? Wey aye. Cunts. We had an owner who wouldn't put a penny of his own money in. They had an owner who was basically pumping his fortune in to keep them as a going concern. Short went there a Billionaire and walked away as a millionaire.

Our average position in the Ashley era while he held us back, was still higher than Sunderland's while Ellis Short spent more than they could really afford, just to squabble for 15-17th every year. Wolfcastle
They're where they should be now. Since the war they're 21st overall, since Kennedy was shot 27th, the 10years prior to the PL 23rd and in the PL era 18th. That probably averages out at where they are now. Much as they deride it, 'football didn't start in 1992' and all that, the PL era is a pinnacle of league performance for them in the last 75years the only count by which they'd be in a top 20. Would be better off pretending football did start in 1992.

Why is the Gallery section like cages? I was dragged there to see Calamity Jane a few weeks back, the sight-lines from the upper circle were shocking, could see maybe 3/4 of the stage. They were the cheap seats mind. Highlight for me was the end - it was shite but Mrs BW liked it - and the actual stampeding crowd to the car park to wait 30 mins sat in the car queueing for the exit. People were literally running away so as not to spend anymore time in the place! Edited 10 hours ago by bhoywhonder

et tu brute
I's actually be quite ok for Boro to win the playoffs. We have hardly played them in years, so the once quite bitter rivalry of the 80s and 90s is not the same. More importantly though it would totally devastate the mackem cunts, with their two north east rivals being in the league above. Also gives us a local(ish) game Edited 10 hours ago by et tu brute

TK-421
The whole Jimmy Hill grudge, despite the fact most of their current/remaining supporters probably weren't even around when it happened, is still pretty funny, like. Would be poetic if they got Coventry, and lost in the play-offs. Edited 7 hours ago by TK-

But AFC Wimbledon take direct lineage, and Franchise FC admitted that the 1988 FA Cup win should sit with AFC Wimbledon. So fuck Franchise FC - they were formed in 2004 and have zero claims on Wimbledon FC’s history; they simply took on their FL membership
Wallsendmag
Coventry coming up is the best scenario by an absolute mile with the mackems losing to Boro in the Semis so they don't even get their day out at Wembo or whatever they call it.
