That's a fucker - got 2 tickets I can't use

It’s obviously not ideal, but as long as you weren’t planning to go as a one off, you’ll be able to get to another game for ‘free’.

I feel like it's weird that these Fender tickets are connected to your level of NUFC membership.

They have to justify the extra tenner somehow

Yeah I imagine it's par for the course with most clubs that have a stadium that holds events like this. Spurs was the first team that came to mind and a quick glance at their top membership includes 'Priority access to tickets and member lounge access for third party events'.

As an aside I didn't realised just how big Fender had gotten. Assumed the love was a bit more localised but seen this is part of a full-on arena tour including London O2!? He's not my cup of tea but fair play to the lad.

Anyone had an experience of the following;

Mate couldn't make the game (West Ham in this instance) - ear infection has doctors note etc

Sold ticket to another fan at face value

Had to go box office to print the ticket off as the ill mate had already downloaded it to Apple wallet

'Done' for touting and the ill mate in question has since had Liverpool and Brentford tickets cancelled with no refund, membership cancelled for rest of the season and subsequently carabao cup history of tickets if we make final.

The woman at the box office was incredibly rude despite it being obvious we're not touts (tout by definition is sale at a profit).

14 year history of buying tickets at the club.

Disgusted by the treatment to be honest.

Weren't told at the time any of this would happen, only told the fan we sold the ticket to at face value couldn't go in to which we said fair enough.

That's on the basis I'm successful in the ballot. All home games applied for - 2 successes, one of which is Villa....

Yeah, that was brought up as the main issue with it when they introduced it. Not sure, but don’t think there’s an expiry on when you have to use them, so presumably be good for next season if need be.

His music’s shite and nobody apart from Mags like him because the Saudis bought the Mags and he’s a fake Mag from North Shields which isn’t even Mag territory and his Mag accent is fake and my lasses aunties cousins mothers brothers cousins nanna used to know a dinner lady at John Spence High and she said he never even wore a Mag shirt to school marra.

FTM.

Just had a theory pop into my head that ballot chances are weighted higher if you’re a Mags+ member.

I wonder…

My brother is a Mags+ member and is yet to win a single ballot this season. I'm just a Mags member and have been successful in 2.

I'm a Mags+ member and I've only won 2 ballots - Wimbledon and Brentford in the League Cup.

Been consistently unsuccessful for all league games so far.

No chance it's any more sophisticated than random. They can barely arrange that.

Yep. Hence why the club probably shouldn’t commit to a % success rate over the season. In theory you’ve a % chance but seems like you could be unlucky and get nothing also.

Update,

Couple of back and forth emails with supporter services to which no movement on their stance and they've asked the member of staff what happened on the day - of course this didn't help at all.

They are however saying they'll look into it further so it's not fully dismissed as of yet.

My mate will miss out on Liverpool and possibly Brentford as a result of this - with no refund on tickets (£70) and no notification this was going to be the punishment for the scenario it still feels very heavy.

Hopefully they eventually come to a better conclusion. Stick with it.

Flat out refusal to change stance now.

Membership banned until next season.

£117 lost including the West Ham game.

Utterly abysmal from the club. Can the Trust or FSA help in any way?

That's an absolute disgrace. How can someone working in the ticket office have the authority to do something like this?

If I've followed this correctly even the harridan in the ticket office didn't make this decision. It was "the recipient can't go in" at that point.

Escalated afterwards. Probs ticket manager.

Horrific that, who have you actually spoken to?

Supporter services and Matt Willis cc'd into the email. With a supporter services admin only replying to us and speaking to the member of staff on the day about it (yes, her.)

Going to ask to speak to someone with further authority.
Shocked by the treatment to be honest
