Both Romano and Ornstein spent the better part of 5 years to get to "Tier 1" status, and only this year immediately made use of their reputation to spin particular narratives. And because of their reputation, they can literally be weaponised to influence transfer activity. It's a great play by them, tbf.

It is but you have to wonder about the longevity of it now they've reached that point, with more and more people seeing through it. I suppose when they're only particularly relevant for a few months out of the year, people will forget.

I mean everyone on here (and every other fan forum) is desperate for the next embedded tweet in the transfer rumours thread. If we were on the right side of these deals I don’t think anyone would be as aggravated by post frequency and if you are, you can choose to just log off for a bit. I took a total break for a week and came back to Elanga done and Longstaff off. Felt good. Can’t wait for the window to be over.

I had the pleasure of working with Jack for 7/8 years and his mam Jackie for 22 years until I retired a couple of years ago.

 

Couldn’t have wished to meet a more pleasant and friendly lad, and was devastating news when he passed.

 

Putting rivalries aside. All fans are so precious. 😢
