Not sure why Arteta didn't give him more chances there as a rotation option for Odegaard. Could have done with having him now with the Odegaard injury. I doubt a few patchy performances at the start of a new season when he probably expected to be lining up in a different shirt will put us off. He's a good player, but Parish pushed his luck. I actually thought he was doing it because he had assurances Guehi would sign a new contract. Turns out that's not the case. And so I have no idea what he was thinking. Guehi not signing a new contract likely means he's at least somewhat unsettled. Contract now approaching the final year and these kinds of performances and results will tank his value. Might even put clubs off going for him altogether. Things change very quickly.
