If Slot wins the league with Klopp's team, doesn't that mean Klopp was underperforming? Klopp finished below us (!!!) not so long ago. fwiw, I think its a bit shit to win the league only once with Alisson, VVD and Salah. All three start in my all-time PL era team.

I had to look it up, but we were the first team to play City following the Rodri injury. Since we didn't start the season well ourselves, I guess it was unlikely that we would really go for it in that match

On an absolutely unrelated note. It’s mad how Norway and Sweden have two of the best attacks in Europe and it’s fairly likely neither will qualify for the WC as they don’t produce your Dan Eggen or your Pontus Kåmark anymore.

Klopp got 97 points without winning the league. Man City currently falling matters a lot. But I think the current squad suits Slot more than it did Klopp They were at their prime under Klopp with a different team. If you look at Man City and Liverpool during the peak Klopp years, you'll see that Man City had nearly if not as good of a starting 11, but with much better squad depth. Klopps Liverpool were competing against the highest scoring PL team ever point wise.
