Popped upto the Co-op just now and had a listen to Talkshite for my sins.

Part of the pre-match chit chat some lass was asking if the PL was getting boring now and could the battle for European places be enough to keep everyone's interest?

Paraphrasing her, obvs, but she might as well have said "Why aren't the Cartel clubs running away with it?"

Difficult to look past City, Brighton, Villa, Forest and Arsenal all picking up maximum points. I reckon they'll get at least 13 from their 5 fixtures today

Brighton nailed on for the win. The others I'm not so sure. If pushed I'd fancy Forest, and I think City might do enough. Brentford really could get something at Arsenal if Arsenal rest too many. Bizarrely I've a sneaky feeling it won't be as easy for Villa as it looks on paper.

Darren Cann's last game as a lino. 579 Prem games he's done. Impressive

Can he not hold on for another month until the end of the season like?

Not sure I've hated a Man United player more than Onana.

Pogba? Cost you a shitload and left on a free. Twice if I recall correctly..

What happened with his transfers wasn't on him to be fair.

Has the potential to be a great day today for Doncaster in their play off race.

Sitting in 4th they are 3 behind the top club Bradford with a game in hand, and play 5th placed Wimbledon. A win and they go 5 points ahead of them, and they could be on Bradfords tail. Both them and Bradford KO at 12:30.

Doncaster 1-0 down, and Bradford 1-0 up already.
