I agree they have better depth but way better? Take out their loan players and I think it doesn’t look quite so good for them.

Put it this way, I wouldn’t swap squads with them

I wouldn't trade our starting eleven, but I'd totally swap their bench for ours.

Look at their midfield compared to ours. It's obvious they have a better squad. We might have a better starting eleven, but definitely not a better squad overall, and its definitely a squad game this.

Think Any PL side in the top 12 would have a decent crack at making the Europa league final this season. They wouldn’t have got to the final last year with Atalanta and Leverkusen.

It’s genuinely harder to win a domestic cup this season.

At least 3 of our 4 wins against Spurs/Man U were ‘live’ games. We smashed a live Man U at OT.  We are good. But that is insane.

Well Aston Villa playing away to a top 12 side isnt a guaranteed win like. They have a pretty average away form this season.

I do think one of Spurs and Man U get some sort of result this weekend and I dont think Forest catch us.

Stop me if I'm wrong, but if Chelsea or Villa lose on Friday, we're more or less there?

If Bournemouth had just taken a point off Villa on Saturday night we'd only need one point now.

If Villa lose on Friday then the only result that would stop us would be a Forest win final day (likely by a single goal) with Forest and Chelsea winning their other games (Chelsea would need to overturn a four goal swing, so assuming we lose both of ours by one they'd need to beat Man U by at least three, probably four).

I understand nerves but we basically have done everything we could possibly do bar winning every game. There's nothing more we can ask.

If all our rivals win all their games by multiple goals then we'll be in a conversation. Otherwise we're doing it.

I’m just basing it off recent history. Going off these two fixtures in previous seasons we got 1 point last season and 2 points season before [emoji38]

We got 3 the season before? 1-0 home win against Everton with a Miggy screamer?

If you'd told me before this season that we'd win a cup and potentially finish 2nd, I'd have a hard time believing it.

If you'd told me that when we were 12th or whatever in December, I simply would not have believed it. No chance.

This really is a special group of players and a special manager. Not perfect, not above all criticism, but special. Let's enjoy it.

Even if we got two more points we could still do it. As I keep saying, I don’t want it to go to the wire but it looks like there’s no way around that now.

It will be done when we beat Arsenal on Sunday.

Lucky for Aston Villa - Spurs and Man U aren’t top 12. They are facing second string and/or unmotivated teams with 2 of the most tactically predictable managers in the league.

I don’t really care about Aston Villa. We are going to finish above them.

Macro view - Villa are a bigger rival than Man U and Spurs. Their ownership’s aren’t levels. I don’t either ownership will make enough compounded good decisions. If not for FFP us and Villa would be title challengers. We will both find a way to make it happen.

They have put all their focus on Europa. Think its an open question how they will respond after that is over.

In all seriousness, they cant be that shit when they made it to the Europa League final. Got to have something going on.

Yeah, it's called Bruno Fernandes. Without him they'd be in the bottom 3.

Just realised, that point at Brighton looking massive right now.

Would be needing 4 from last two games to guarantee it if we'd lost at Brighton.

So basically Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Villa look pretty nailed on, this could very easily go to Everton on the last day, I'm confident we will hammer them.

So the team we're 3 points ahead of with an almost insurmountable GD, the team we're a point ahead of, and the team we're 2 points behind but play this weekend, have beaten three times, and whose only win in the last month is against a 10 man Ipswich are nailed on but we're not. A reasoned perspective.

Nailed on Villa at 5/4 with bet365.
