The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Recommended Posts

Just going to have to beat Everton. Easier said than done in a one off game. They're negative spoilers on a good day.

Thing I dread the most is this of all seasons ending in disappointment when it really shouldn't.

Even if we lose sunday, it would be very helpful if it's not a 4+ battering so we can go into the last game with a GD/GS advantage over Chelsea. Nice that although they won it was just 1-0. That way if Chelsea Forest draw (a reasonably likely scenario), a draw would be enough for us regardless of Villa and regardless of West Ham v Forest.

I know what it's based on but this absolutely mental IMO. There is no way we are 93% qualified FFS.

Yeah, 93% sounds about right, we're good, mate. One more win out of the next two and we're in. And don't forget how Eddie's team always delivers when the pressure's on? I can't remember us ever losing a must-win game at St. James' Park. We'll thrash Everton. Eddie's team has proven it time and time again.

Seems unbelievable, but could City actually be the team which misses out. Unlikely I know, but they are against two teams who can cause problems (as we know). Bournemouth and Fulham not in the best of form though either.

Just got to make sure (if we require three points last game), that we don't have another Leicester game from two years ago.

They are both going to roll over for City. Its inevitable.

All we needed was one point that season, and we had a game against Chelsea away next. We totally beat Everton.

I agree (I'm quite confident we can get a result on Sunday also). I'm probably thinking of t-Rex having an absolute blinder. He's love nothing better than to be the one who stopped is qualifying. Overall though, I'm pretty confident we will get over the line and I'm not even convinced we will actually need three points.

Bournemouth won't do fuck all against citeh. Dropped their arses against villa when it mattered

We might beat Arsenal yet. It'll be tough, but it's possible.

Definitely, obviously Saka is playing this time, but if we put in the same level of performance, like we did in both legs of the semis and the final, then we are a match for any team.

I think City win, but Bournemouth are much better away from home than they are on their own patch. Only lost four away all season.

Ironically, they need City to win tomorrow to give them something to play for.

Considering we got what we needed from it, that Leicester games seems to have left some deep scars on people!

Aye. Pretty sure we battered them for about an hour too, before we settled for the point we needed.

They missed a sitter at the end.

My memory isn't great, but I don't think it was a sitter. Pope made a cracking save from a good strike.

We were sitting deep protecting a point, which we wouldn't have done if we'd needed to win.

Can't picture it either tbh. Can just remember thinking "should of scored there", and being very relieved.
