Once we get Spurs out of the way we'll have 10 at Home and only 8 Away left to play. 32 points at halfway means 64 at the end of the season but given the extra homes there's no reason we can't aim for 70ish

So 66 points is the average needed for 5th, we've got 35.

31 more needed, 11 (winnable) home games plus 8 away.

Basically let’s rest and default all remaining away games and concentrate on winning all home games. Guaranteed Europe.

I prefer this one. 5 points ahead of last season, all from away performance.

(Also not mine)

And only 7 points to ‘defend’ from the remaining 24.

Think it's 10 home games and 8 away.

Our remaining away games could be better.

Agreed, but I think we can beat the seven we took last year from the same fixtures. I'd fancy six from Soton and Leicester, and something at West Ham. The rest are all tricky but Id like to think we wouldn't lose the lot. Hopefully we can continue our form over Villa and we owe Brighton one.

If we win at Southampton and Leicester then whatever else we scrap together away from home should be enough as long as we are imperious at home. These next four are very important. It's unfortunate that we've been told we have no mathematical chance of winning all of them.

They were saying on talksport this morning that top 5 would likely get you champions league, any truth ?

Yes, England almost certain to get one of the extra places this year.

I think we need to go for it, was convinced we'd do nothing in January, but I think just one solid signing would be enough, because our next month of fixtures look very good.

Well, looks like we’d need to sell either now or in June, so presuming nobody comes in for our expendable players, which first teamer do you suggest we sacrifice?

Just need to throw the game against Bromley and they're there for the taking!

Looking at the fixtures, the next four give us a really good opportunity to cement our top top/five challenge (Wolves h, Bournemouth h, Saints a, Fulham h). It’s then a really tough block of four (City a, Forest h, Liverpool a , West Ham a). It’s then an easier block of four on paper (Palace h, Brentford h, Leicester a, Man U a).

That Man U game is at SJP, we just beat them at OT.

Liverpool away is the only write off I can see but even then just go for it and you never know. We absolutely have to win that Forest game though.

Liverpool away is not a write off if Isak and Tonali are fit.

Wasn't really saying we can't get something its more if we lose its no big deal because they've been in crazy form all season. Theres points to be had in every other game though assuming City are still struggling.
