It's about some ship but I was in the block next to the "ultras" 2 seasons ago and couldn't really work out the lyrics
Wolfcastle
Watched the goals from Bayerns game last week. Nice flag waving as the games going on and drumming and all that. Shame most people cant even be bothered to even move when a goal goes in. Edited 23 hours ago by Wolfcastle

We support Palace. Ooooh oooh oooh. We support Palace” one? Sounds like that, anyway. Sounds fucking wank, whatever it is.

Even in the terraced parts.

I was in the away end for a Bundesliga game last season. It was such a weird experience. Genuinely don’t think half their fans even noticed when they scored. LFEE
I love how everyone who’s complaining about the atmosphere are against anything that seems to help make an atmosphere because it’s not cool Also I don’t see the play in criticising other fans making an attempt to create an atmosphere at their clubs. You come across very miserable… maybe the issue at SJP is closer to home than you realise

Quite like the mega old folk(ish) song they played at Koln and I think they do similar at Mainz. Absolutely at odds with the modern stuff but they seem to love it. Same goes with the usually kitch 70/80s prematch anthems. So long as they own it then it’s all good.

Actually stood in the terrace behind the goal at Koln back in 2012 for a crucial end of sesson match v Stuttgart. Koln needed to win to fight off relegation and Stuttgart needed to win to try to qualify for the CL I think. Atmosphere was class mind. Must have been 10k Stuttgart fans there. Finished 1-1 but considering the magnitude of the game I remember Kolns goal celebrations being rather underwhelming, even on the terrace. Ended up in a beer keller absolutely jam packed with Stuttgart fans bouncing about, jumping up on the tables amd generally going daft after the match. Me and wor lass must have looked well out of place sat there A Stuttgart fan came up to us and said something to us in German. Explained we were English and probably in the wrong place really! Ended up telling him I was from Newcastle and he said "Ah Alan Shearer". Next thing I know we were being included in him and his mates round and the drinks just kept on coming over. Wouldn't let us put our hands in our pockets either. Left the place absolutely plastered and the meal we'd planned to have that night never happened Edited 5 hours ago by Wallsendmag

Not sure exactly when the Toon bit crept in but I think the first time a remember it was when we were playing Man Utd at home probably 20 years ago or so. Their away fans were singing "UNITED" and to drown them out our lot were shouting TOON in between and it seemed to catch on from then. Used to be like this. Possibly the best rendition ever from 55 seconds in.

Yeah I don’t remember the particular match I first heard it, I think I’d have said away at Old Trafford - but I also remember it as it being a response to ManU (and maybe Leeds?) doing the same United chant. Aye whenever Man Utd played Leeds the Leeds fans would all shout "LEEDS" in between the Man Utd fans shouts of "UNITED". We adapted that to "TOON" whenever we played Man Utd and it stuck, unfortunately. The clap 3 times then raise your arms in the air is the correct way to do it.
