Krafth to deputise for Livramento. I'd personally prefer to keep Trippier till the summer and get rid of Targett instead. Trippier can contribute a bit more offensively/set pieces and can play in a few different positions.

Do you think we could be tempted for one of these with a view to Isak playing as SS or LW? Osimhen is a no brainer if he becomes available, it's very likely there'd be a host of clubs wanting him. I could see him at Arsenal, and them moving Jesus on. Jesus is hardly prolific, pretty average striker really.
Checko Posted Wednesday at 09:02 Share Posted Wednesday at 09:02 Feel Osimhen is the striker Arsenal need and they're the top prem team who really needs a top CF. Maybe Liverpool too. Man U already have a £75 million CF already, plus Zirkzee as backup. Spuds have Solanke, Man C Haaland, Chelsea have Jackson and Nkunku (though it must have been about three months since they last bought someone so they must be getting desperate). Liverpool have Nunez who I really like as a player, but he isn't clinical, though Jota's a consistent scorer.

Cronky Posted Wednesday at 10:00 Share Posted Wednesday at 10:00 Why has Osimhen ended up on loan in the Turkish League, at what should be the peak of his career? He's one of the top three strikers in the world, but I wonder if there's a problem.

He's one of the top three strikers in the world, but I wonder if there's a problem. According to this, Chelsea low-balled on their wage offer then Napoli tried to increase their asking price from the Saudi club at the last minute; Quote According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea's offer to Osimhen included a base salary of £3.4m, rising to £6.8m with Champions League qualification and a series of other bonuses. Osimhen, who currently earns £9.3m annually at Napoli, did not accept the offer, and Chelsea declined to improve on their proposal. Deadline day was a chaotic one for Osimhen, who had agreed personal terms with Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli. There were reports of an agreement over a transfer fee with Napoli, but the Serie A side are believed to have raised their demands by an extra £4.2m up to £71.6m, frustrating Al Ahli and ultimately seeing them turn to Ivan Toney instead for around half the price. To make matters worse for Osimhen, he has since been left out of Napoli's squad for the Serie A season, with manager Antonio Conte adamant that he will not use the Nigeria international. I suppose by the time the loan deal came about any other potential suitors either couldn't afford him or already had their CF for the season so Napoli just had to take whatever was left on the table. Kanj Posted Wednesday at 13:54 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:54 (edited) at some point, having such strict wage demands that you’re left to taking money to play in Türkiye on loan rather than in Italy for a top club that you’ve got great history with or in England for a top club and a next chapter in your life just seems like bad decision (+influence) in your life. Emotic Posted Wednesday at 13:58 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:58 Some rumours of Tomori wanting out at Meelan. Hope Sandro has a word and he comes here and we forget about Guehi. 24 mil for Tomori, another 25 to 30 for Bakayoko or Dibling, and that’s two critical positions filled for the price of a Guehi. Yes please.. Don’t think Sandro will have trouble selling us to anyone, the journey he’s had with us.
kingxlnc Posted Wednesday at 14:11 Share Posted Wednesday at 14:11 Saw that Theo Hernandez is for sale too, if it wasn't for Halls rapid progression would be a great signing. But not needed now

And yet, Teamtalk this past two days is full of clickbait shite like “Newcastle’s Italian STAR set to LEAVE as he expresses frustration.”. Teamtalk has fallen off a cliff sharply in the past year. Definitely but worth pointing out that Chelsea's new model is the long contracts are balanced with comparatively low wages so if he didn't want the long contract not unreasonable to turn down.
