Usually this happens but this guy is being linked with Madrid, Barca, Arsenal etc, doesn't seem to be many after Trafford? 

 

And based off YouTube clips (yeah, I know.. ) he looks better 

 

Having said that, I trust our scouting department to do what's best, as they have done pretty much every time so far 👍

Trafford doesn't have much experience of excelling at the highest level. Done well for England u-21s by all accounts and is now coming off the back of a great season in the second tier (albeit one anchored in a very solid defensive setup in front of him). In the PL he looked deficient, truthfully - which isn't to say he won't go on to have a great career.

 

The main reason to be enthusiastic about Trafford would probably simply be the fact that we had chosen him - and our recruitment has been stellar ever since the takeover.

Not unlike the Isak and Bruno deals. 
not as some faith based  hero worship but I have absolute faith in Howe’s selection of targets. Based on what has happened so far and the fact that his choices are measured and considered and not emotional or based on glamour.

We’re going to finish very strongly in the league, we’ve just won a cup, we’re going to be in the CL, we have the best coach around and the nucleus of a title challenging team. Lean into it mate.

If this is true (Which given it's Spanish media, I'm dubious about), it does show how good we are at media manipulation, for months, in fact nigh on a year, it's been seen as a done thing that Trafford is heading this way, than last minute, this happens
