They both seem to suffer from being a bit position-less, to me, like Ramsey does here, but they’d still likely count among our better players if they were here.

I'm not saying they're bad, but very good? 

 

I think Elliot has reached his ceiling at 23. Will have a half decent premier league career in the bottom end of the table. The English premium is real, especially when coming from a 'big' club. I'd expect to find much better in terms of both potential and quality on the continent for those prices.

I think Elliot was lost in a bad transfer deal.

 

The players sale he was replacing fell through last minute meaning Villa didn't really need him or want to trigger the sale.

 

He ended up wasting a whole season so hard to judge if he would have pushed on last year or not

Is he? Hadn’t heard that. 
 

but I think the no dickheads policy went out the window with Isak, I’d rather just have great footballers personally.
