Nope, that’s a non-sequitur. Howe did a good job last year in trying circumstances.

I don’t mind if you want to see the positives with Mitchell, I just personally don’t see them based on his tenure with us to date.

I agree that Howe could not do much about those games (talking specifically about the worst run). Which is exactly my point. Sometimes you just can't do much at all.

Just contribute man.  This forum is great with lovely (cough) fans having a get together.  I'm sure you will enjoy a bit of banter.

Now put the White Lightning away and talk just a little bit.  We are here to help you if you are struggling.  Lovely people on here (cough).

Oh feck off man.  Nowt was going to happen in this January window as most sensible people thought and when we stuff Fulham 3-1 I hope you come grovelling back on here with your apology.

My advice would be to ignore anything TBG posts

And not take too seriously what anybody else posts  (at least in the footy section).

While this is becoming circuitous, I don’t think the situations are the same.

The first team squad is shallow on top-end talent; I had hoped he could use his supposed contacts book / knowledge of less popular markets to find us a difference maker or contributor over 2 windows.

Perhaps you are right and truly he is not permitted to sign anyone. Who knows. On balance I’m not convinced by him. You are equally entitled to disagree.

I don't understand not going for a loan unless there really is no one.

I understand they can be expensive, but if it's the difference between us making the CL or not then it's easily worth it.

It would mean been able to keep our best players in the summer.

I'm pretty sure we'd be able to shift a fringe player before June 30.

And with the increase in CL revenue we'd be in a much better position.

But I don't know all the facts so who knows.

Dan Ashworth for me.

His legacy includes UCL and Isak.

You do come across as a bit of a knob since suddenly finding your  vocal cords.

I think I speak for all the fan channels when I say Mitchell must personally sit down with them on Monday and discuss this mess of another window.  Can also ask his thoughts on Howe if we lose on Saturday.

Personally I’m only interested in if he and Eddie have spoken. If not then it shows a clear divide in the clubs leadership and we are obviously heading for disaster and if they have spoken then obviously they’ve been unable to agree on transfer targets and how to proceed, in which case there is no hope we’re looking at disaster in the near future.
