The College Dropout
If i'm Guehi, i'm staying at Palace and collect a supermax contract as a free agent. I don't think he's good enough where a club goes drops £60m on him. But for free? £150-200k per week he could end up at City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man U, Us etc.. Smal
I don’t think he’s a good fit for us either tbh.
Begbie
He reminds me of Bramble. Very good player in there, but cant stay focused over time.

HawK
With Botman, Schar, Burn and Lascelles are seemingly available next year, I really would rather we didn't outlay so much on a position I think we have depth in and we instead invested heavily in a ball-playing keeper instead. Then again, I was wrong when we signed Gordon when we already had Maxi. I was also wrong when we signed Barnes, when we already had Gordon. I've been right about many things tactically - but come transfers I'm evidently clueless. So if he arrives, for whatever we pay, I'll be backing him and the club 100% this time around. If he doesn't, I'll just keep pining for Kelleher/Trafford Edited April 17 by HawK

r0cafella
Schar is and has been incredible for us but a quick centre half allows BDB/BOTMAN to get right to a lone striker without worrying about the massive gaps that leaves us. We are especially dominant when we can camp in the opponents have and squeeze them.
John P
He's far from bang average, he's an excellent player. The own goal last night was him trying to cover the mistake of the other centre back (Richards?) who left him completely exposed by trying to press Joelinton in midfield. Howe has turned Burn into one of the most consistent centre backs in the league, he'd do wonders with Guehi. If he's available for £30-40m due to his contract situation it's an absolute no brainer, he's a proven PL and international centre back with years left in him

AyeDubbleYoo
Guehi’s OG last night was because he was trying to stop a guaranteed goal by blocking a cross after his team was played through with ease by us.

Sima
Yeah, I'm in the RCB position is a priority camp. Schar and Burn are playing incredibly at the minute but they're both well into their 30s now.
Mazzy
CB is still very high on the list for me. He's not the one though.
Doctor Zaius
Wouldn't judge him on last night or the own goals. Not particularly his fault. Palace fans rate him very highly. Id take him at the right price. Possibly weak in the air, and not sure if he's at his best in a 3 - which we don't pay. I'm sure we'll be well aware of his strengths and weaknesses though. janpawel
CB very important imo, a CB with pace will massively improve our team in many ways One thing I wondered with Guehi, Howe loves height in the team, probably the main reason burn was left back for so long. But Guehi doesn't have that, always thought he'd want 2 tall CB's / both good in the air

southernmag
57 minutes ago, enthusiast said: outspoken homophobia is an instant fail of the no dickheads rule iyam It's interesting how the term 'homophobia' has been hijacked to accuse some of having a phobia of a whole people group, when actually it means (in many cases, and clearly Guehi's) a moral objection to an aspect of their lifestyle. Two completely different things. He doesn't have a mortal fear (or, contrary to popular rhetoric, a loathing) of homosexuals. He just dislikes something they do. You can think he's a 'dickhead' for that, and want to shut him out of our club. But that also strikes me as odd from those often claiming love and tolerance as surpassing virtues. Clearly love and tolerance are very, very selective. Edited April 17 by southernmag
