Who's panicking. Where is the panic in my post. Fkn hell man. It's my opinion that we're struggling to tempt players to sign. Nothing else.

[emoji38] no fucka like Tonali leaving his boyhood club and home city to come here. Example 1 of many.

Widely known Elanga wants the move and the first bid is to help push it along.

Widely known???? 😆😁

Jesus.

He’s a slightly above average premier league winger. These numbers are not good.

Neither were Gordons or Isaks and we 'overpaid' for them at the time according to the world.

Trust Howe.

Seems a daft offer, unless there's rumblings of them having PSR issues?

We may think they do, though for what it's worth Swiss Ramble estimated they are fine both for the PL and Europe.

Elanga would tear it up here under Eddie I reckon. It’s looking pretty clear we’ve liked him for a very long time and have a clear plan on how to use him. With that in mind I can tolerate this dragging on a little longer yet.

That's where I'm at. I get that he isn't Lamine Yamal, but given we can't buy that type of player yet, Howe would probably like to go for explosive pace and an eye for a goal as an alternative.

Absolutely no fucka is interested in coming here like. Not sure if it's because of the owners or the impression that it's still shite up North. You'd think players would be falling over themselves to join the party. Even fairly average players aren't bothered. Bunch of cunts. The journos can fuck off as well. Having my life everyday with their made up bollocks.

What?

Sorry, I thought the forum was to discuss rumour and offer opinion. What the fuck was I thinking.

If you could just explain how you have decided that Elanga doesn’t want to come here, when it was Forest who rejected the bid?

Where is £30 million from? Started most games last season, scored a decent amount of goals, now an England international and signed originally for around that amount originally. Would jump at £30m but surely they are going to want over £50m for him.

I'm positive I saw £30m quoted a few weeks' back but can't find anything. Latest price mentioned is £50m but I think Forest will be wanting more than that for Elanga still.

Third highest assists in the league for a team whose game plan is to win every game 1 nil.

90th percentile assists but 50ish percentile expected. One of these things is not true. It’s a big bet on it being the former.

First offers are always rejected. Nothing new there.

Have Forest leaked to Ornstein that we've made a bid and if so why if they don't want to sell?

 This.

Brinkmanship begins.

Does feel a bit like it’s a ‘put a lower offer in prior to the PSR deadline, to see what happens’ kind of offer.

Then come back and  increase it right before the deadline.

stats bug the fuckin tits off me sometimes. Wood only scored 3 less than Isak let’s sell Isak and get wood back in

also Elanga was joint 3rd with about 5 other players and Murphy was 2nd who we are trying to replace with Elanga

I don't know, it was my opinion. How do you know they do?

It was a mental rant about something that had nothing to do with Forest rejecting our offer

Not a chance that Elanga wouldn't want to join us. Champions League with a team that has qualified twice in two years and won a trophy and the chance to play at club level with Isak and he obviously has some mates here as well as him. Or playing for the basket case owner at Forest for a team that is more than likely going to have a dip next year with just Conference League football.

Anyone thinking he wouldn't want to come to us is clueless. The only way he wouldn't is if Chelsea or someone else comes for him for double the wages.
