To me, it's the choice of games we're rotating in. The message seems to be that the Liverpool game was a more important fixture than this one, which I'd disagree with given that we're sat 12th in the table.

Didn’t they go off with cramp/tightness? Did we know they needed rotating or they were going to perhaps get a slight niggle before they played the Liverpool game?

Damned, either way. Imagine if we started Murphy, Longstaff and Barnes on Wednesday and didn’t get a result

Hickey and Rico Henry are both injured

Aye, I mean I kind of knew he wasn’t first choice LB at the club (had forgot about Hickey actually) but the few times I’ve seen him play it’s been as a forward, and he didn’t particularly strike me as someone who could slot in as a defender.

Not gonna start out with a negative attitude myself. Not that weird resting Tonali after the effort he gave midweek. About time Gordon got a rest.

Gordon most definitely has earned a rest. I think the surprise with Tonali might be because he's started very few games for us. Which ironically might be why he's fatigued so quickly after coming back.

Because the Tino, Longstaff, Murphy combination never works. Simple as that.

plus both Bruno and Joelinton looked fucked against Liverpool but they still start?

I would hope our management has more data to base these decisions on than how they looked in the last match.

More concerned about Hooper being drafted in as the ref at the last minute than our lineup. He was a disgrace in that Chelsea away game.

Expand

He's poor but if you're looking for omens he was the ref for the only home game in which Brentford have dropped points this season.
