True. but our back 5 is in a similar situation so no excuses for them at all as far as I'm concerned

Spence has been been one of their best players lately so Udogie out is no big loss
Erikse Posted Friday at 15:58 Share Posted Friday at 15:58 (edited) I actually hope Botman doesn't start this one, even when that means having to rely on Kelly. It seems like the club has learned their lesson on this anyways, so whatever decision they make will probably be of good reason. I'm just scarred from last season. Ben Davies would also be playing if fit.

Doesn’t seem to have played in Europe, which is odd. He’s not even a LB, assuming that’s where he’ll play if he does, so they’ll definitely miss Udogie. They thought they were going to peddle him in the summer but it never happened.

Ah, that would make sense. Surely Reguilon’s a better bet at LB? Although Ange doesn’t seem to rate either of them. Hope that judgement is validated whichever one plays. Mazzy Posted Friday at 16:45 Share Posted Friday at 16:45 Seems like not only have they got alot of injuries and suspensions, there's been illness in the Spurs group this week. Could be even more depleted by Sunday hopefully.
gdm Posted Friday at 16:50 Share Posted Friday at 16:50 Dunno about the illnesses but they’ve only got 2 injuries more than us
Ginola14 Posted Friday at 16:51 Share Posted Friday at 16:51 (edited) Spurs situation sounds almost exactly like us last season flogging the same players over and over due to injuries, bringing back players too soon and getting reinjured, fatigue from so many games, fans blaming manager for injury crisis etc (still think our situation was worse when we had 12 out last Nov/Dec and were playing the same 11 for something like 6 games in a row and hardly a single substitution made in that time) almost feel sorry for them hopefully our lot are absolutely ruthless tomorrow Edited Friday at 16:52 by Ginola14

There’s no chance he comes back tomorrow and they have 8 first team players. It’s hardly a huge difference. They have the keeper & 5 defenders out and we have keeper and 4 defenders out. gdm Posted Friday at 17:22 Share Posted Friday at 17:22 They have a similar amount of injuries to us in the same areas. We have better and more adequate back up but that’s a different argument
