This puts me in the same uneasy position I had pre-Man U game. Their injuries, and now sickness abscenes, combined with our form makes us the favourites, surely? I just have issues processing that in any game away at the 'Sky 6'.

If we play to our strengths we win. If……… [emoji38]

Feel similarly as uneasy for this as I did pre Man Utd. Despite it being away against a ‘big 6’ side, with the players they have out and in our form we probably should be looking to win this. Feel we’ll either pummel them or we’ll just not show up and get turned over. No inbetween.

Just not losing will be a decent return after the recent run we’ve been on.

Real negative feeling amongst their fanbase at the minute. Similar to Man Utd but the difference being they’d already sacked the manager, so Amorim’s obviously got a bit of leeway.

Not the case for Ange. Start like we did against Man Utd (alright Spurs unlikely to be that bad) and the stadium could turn proper toxic.

The only nagging doubt I have for this is no Schar. Wonder if they’ll play a full back 4 of reserves with their very own Paul Huntington. As long as old mate plays that high line it’ll give us ample opportunities for goals.

We'll batter these.

Andy Madley is the ref tomorrow, as well as our own great form we're on some run of generally shite refs, last three have been Atwell (Ipswich), Taylor (Villa), Hooper (Man U). Maddison red card tomorrow please!

The triangle of Tonali, Hall and Bruno really helps take the pressure from our centrebacks to find good passes under pressure.

Schar does it anyway because he's an elite passer.

My point being, I don't think an offensively limited centreback alongside Burn will be all that bad, as long as we have that new strength in front and around them.

“5 nil barcodes”

“We're gonna get humped lol, if Madders is one of the "ill" players I'll bet this is effectively players downing tools knowing that Ange is dead in the water and there's no point being the subject of even more ire of the fans, who I'm sure will not be too chuffed to watch us roll over and eagerly hand another 3 points to a team we should by all rights expect to beat, if we were performing as we should be. I legit think even though its obviously never how we usually do business I think Ange would have had a statement signing in by the Newcastle game to bolster his chances, I think Levy is happy to hang him out to dry and spend whatever money is planned after he goes so it looks more like backing the new manager than throwing more money down the well at the old one who is clearly fucked either way”

“Players have defo downed tools and called in sick”

Wont take much to turn this crowd. Their patience with the unpronounceable is at its near end! Please show up, do our thing and smash these!

Aye, plus if Spurs do their "that's how we play, mate" thing we'll always have a hoof over the top to 3 pacers aswell

A Bruno pin point defence splitting hoof?

I'll take that, a Tonali first timer where he hasn't even looked (got to come off eventually, might aswell be against these), or a Burn agricultural just getting it lumped.

Ideally all 3 within the first 20 minutes.

I hope Isak has been working on his 1 v 1 finishing, though he's usually great against Spurs

another away win would be incredible, draw not too bad

love seeing Spurs and MU languishing in the bottom half, long may it continue

Spurs are much more dangerous as an attacking force than Man U (on their day). They just don't always turn up.

This is my worry. They'll get a good few shots on target and I don't trust Dubravka to save them.

I can't see us getting anything tomorrow, sadly.

Kelly isn't even offensively limited.  He has a great long pass on him, for example.  He's just not as good as Schar and bar the Chelsea game in the cup.  He has been poor or fairly uninspiring in his appearances for us so far.

"We're not just down to the bare bones, we're down to the marrow"

This "injury crisis" is a load of bollocks.  They still have Bissouma, Sarr, Kulu, Maddison, Son, Solanke & Johnson which is pretty much their best midfield and attack.

They're only missing their two best CD's & goalkeeper (same as us).  And Udogie who has been playing shit anyway.  Spence has been better

Their starting goalkeeper, starting CB's, starting LB, backup left back/CB, Dragusin another CB of theirs has been playing with an ankle injury, Richarlison and Odobert who would offer rotation up the top end have been out a while, Bentancur missing through suspension.  The young lad who has been getting minutes has been injured a while, too.  Moore?

I dunno, like.  I'd say it's pretty bad.

Can we have an updated likely line up from them?

Pretty much the same as what was previously predicted, but with the added bit that some unknown players could be out ill.

I'd forgot about Bentancur tbh.  But anyway all I was getting at is they will still have a very good team against us.  The way they are going on you'd think they'll be playing a load of kids
