Yorkie
Just now, Wandy said: But completely justified. This team simply wont overcome the dippers. It wouldnt be that big a deal if we didnt have the albatross of 70 years and the prospect of six cup final losses in a row to contend with. Losing to this Liverpool side on ability alone isn't a deal breaker. I understand the logic but fuck it's a miserable way to be. The team isn't incapable of winning the game. It's not a foregone conclusion by any means.

toontownman
Some of our leaders couldn't even up their game when we needed it against Brighton today. The malaise at times was wild. We have a hugely damaging mental block now and public perception that we are inconsistent bottlers that only turn up when bothered. Hope Eddie can use that as motivation and the players react. We have had some great performances against teams like Arsenal. It's in us but too often we roll over. Gordon is a big loss but losing Isak would be a game ender. pedro111
I'm as gutted as anyone about Gordon but If anyone wants to shift their ticket. Feel free to PM me.
TBG
Well I just asked my imaginary son if he wanted to go and he turned round and said 'If the players aren't going to turn up, why should I?' and I felt that.
Vaj
We absolutely do have a chance of winning the final, ridiculous to think otherwise. Of course they are favourites but anything can happen and if everyone is fit and we turn up then who knows. We have no expectations of winning so let’s go for it! Jonas
More absoutely classic pre cup final NUFC stuff. That's now, since getting to the last four finals - Played 20, Won 3 (unconvincingly)
Fak
Niall or Biffa writing their report half cut? Schar was well offside. “Millimetres” ffs.
Superior Acuña
I'm going to get back to being more positive after today, but.... this really had the feeling of we can do this, but we need everyone firing on, and a bit of luck. To then basically voluntarily go and fuck our best team with stupidity has me so down. From tomorrow I'll be Harvey Barnes's Silverware Army.

Yorkie
From memory barely a third of his body was offside. In 99.99999999999% of all football matches in the history of time, we've won. Apparently the sport was wrong until a few seasons back though.

They're trying to make football as supporter unfriendly as they can on and off the pitch it seems.
Decky
Gordon wasn't sent off because of VAR. The referee walked right over to him straight away.
Superior Acuña
Goals really now should be celebrated like when you win a pen. You've most likely got a goal, but not sure yet. I got sucked in by crowd and player celebrations that Schar must've been blatantly onside.

But I can't imagine when offside was brought in, it was ever envisaged that an "unfair advantage" would be a player leaning his upper body a couple of CMs past the other side of the last defender.
