ramirez Posted Saturday at 12:47 Share Posted Saturday at 12:47 Used to love all the 70's -80's stuff mad mick belted out, Alternative Ulster by SLF has possibly the best intro ever and jake Burns is a huge United fan. Made a spotify playlist of all the metro tunes somewhere, listening to games on radio from shitholes like vale park was a huge formulative part of being a supporter, they had some bangers on too, Domino dancing, Regret by new order, ecuador by sash and til I come. Also we wish you well and hocus pocus and sylvia by Focus remain early SJP memories.
Chris_R Posted Saturday at 12:47 Share Posted Saturday at 12:47 Also Water of Tyne, probably the Kathryn Tickell rendition. My dad passed 2 years ago and had that played at his funeral. He was a massive fan and saw all their Wembley triumphs in the 50s so I'll be thinking of him a lot tomorrow. I'll be a mess playing it but again it's a great tune aside from the personal feelings I have for it.

I used to blare this out before games: Echo this. Worked with Dave McQueen years back, was a really nice chap and had some great stories. Their cover of Wuthering Heights was amazing. Probably my favourite cover by any band ever. Another one you can get the volume up to 11 on.
