Aye fair point, he could just be being coy. I do suspect he may be telling the truth though as the context of registration one day prior to a PL game is very different to a pre-season signing (Barnes).

If we get his announcement/media stuff tomorrow morning, and it makes no mention of if it was done in time I will fully believe he is in the squad. 

 

If there's no announcement, or an announcement that specifically mentions it wasn't completed in time for him to be involved then the dream will be dead.

I'm guessing you obviously can't register him before he has signed, and not sign him until after the medical. How long does a medical take? Wonder how likely it is that they have completed it before 12 today? 🤔
