We've had a poor season but where would we be without the fair few goals he has scored, went through a flying start and needs support when the going has got tough. He never played as a sole striker for Stuttgart but as part of a two up top, hes done alright for his first season in the Prem, having to lead the line on his own with piss poor service and having to play in midfield. Think the only way you get him playing at his best is change the tactics so he has someone in front of him or alongside him up top. It's not nice the witch hunt and scapegoating he is getting from the press when players like Wissa, Elanga, Pope, Trippier and a few others should be getting equally or more called out Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

None moreso than Gordon. Sorry...couldn't help it...but aye. He seems to escape it more than anyone given his worst attitude to performance ratio.
