Liverpool haven't sat and discussed an offer. They've just activated the release clause. We could have done that a week ago. If Liverpool had then done the same fair enough. We couldn't blame anyone then. But that's not how it's happened. We've tried to save a few million discussing the exactly deal they will accept and left it long enough for Liverpool to just come in and activate the clause and it's deal done for them. All so unnecessary when he's replacing a guy we've just received €80m for and his release fee was half that. Fuck this, genuinely pissed off, glass and Scotch time and forget NUFC exist for a bit.
